Brand Storytelling

I pitched the comic book format. Rather than a brochure or handout, a comic would meet kids where they already are, in a medium they love, and use visual narrative to make unfamiliar concepts feel familiar and fun.

The Brief

From there, I built the project from the ground up: developing original characters, writing the story arc, and making deliberate design decisions about visual complexity and language to match the target age group. Every panel had to balance two things at once. A kid giggling at the art and a teacher nodding at the content.

The Approach

The comic was presented live to a classroom and left behind as a take-home piece. Kids engaged with it immediately, and the client was thrilled with how it represented them in the community.
